The man who died of an overdose of Sildenafil at a Manhattan hospital has been remarried with his daughter, who is now nine years old, and is now his daughter.
The man died in May 2010 at age 24. His daughter, whose name is Susan, is now nine years old.
Her husband, Steve, who is from South Staten Island, was a college student and the father of five.
After his death, he worked for the New York City-based drug company Pfizer, and he became a drug specialist.
He also was a consultant for Pfizer’s research on erectile dysfunction. He said his wife was “a fantastic person” and had a “very loving, caring and generous relationship” with Steve, a long-time man of his own making.
“She was a great help to us both and was a good person,” he said. “I was always very fortunate to have her.”
Steve died on March 17, 2011.
Sildenafil is an oral drug used to treat erectile dysfunction. Viagra (sildenafil citrate) is used for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension and is not approved for this use. Viagra is not approved for treating erectile dysfunction. Sildenafil is in a class of drugs called nitrates which are used to treat angina (chest pain) and is not approved for this use.
